The tactile sensor kit for industrial robots by taroki®

Teaching robots to feel tactile sensations

By utilizing the sensory grip-kit from taroki®

Adaptive and versatile.
A holistic solution to give robots the sense of touch.

Tactility in automated robotics

We teach robots to feel.

Enable precise robot control. Use a new dimension of contact parameters and optimize your processes.

Precise Measurement

Measure grip forces directly on the effector in real time to eliminate uncertainty and keep your system consistent.

Scalable Innovation

Take advantage of tactile gripping and invest your resources in innovation rather than configuration.

Easy implementation, clear result

A significant added value, in every application.

The taroki® sensors transmit tactile data with a transmission rate of less than 1ms. In addition, the tactile scanning rate lies at 120hz. This enables a dynamically adapting handling and speed control.

Robots can use the sensor kit to determine the contact type and quality and adjust corresponding parameters in real time. This simplifies programming, as the robot is able to react dynamically to external parameters.

The easy integration into your existing system makes complex robotic solutions for quality and location determination obsolete. Invest in the modular expandable taroki® sensors instead of static and maintenance-prone systems.

A new status quo

Technological features you have never seen before.

Broad Adaptability

Requirements are redefined in every application. The taroki® team is solution-oriented from the ground up and develops sensors with customized properties to meet the requirements of your application exactly.

Sustainable Product-Life

The tactile sensors from taroki® have been developed for the most demanding industrial applications. Validated over millions of test cycles, they can be used where your robots already operate successfully.

Innovative Technology

Due to the high sampling rate and composition of the sensor modules, we can guarantee a high and consistent accuracy in every application. Our temporal and spatial resolution has a tactile sensitivity near to that of the human skin.

The taroki® kit, with sensors from tacterion

Straightforward components, totally new possibilities. Our advanced sensors are developed adaptively from the ground up. They can be perfectly adapted to your application with a minimum of modification.

Through our personal customer service we guarantee a seamless integration into your existing system.

The taroki® software suite. A tool for optimization.

Analyze your existing processes in logistics and industrial production. With the help of the sensor-kit and its associated software suite. Identify problems precisely and optimize them in an adaptive process.

Part of every sensor kit.

The Technology

Our patented sensor technology was originally developed as "sensor-skin" for robots, made by tacterion. It was used to give robots, machines and products the sense of touch. The sensor technology of taroki® is based on this design and was further developed especially for effectors on industrial robots.

The tacterion founders and brothers, Daniel Strohmayr & Dr. Michael Strohmayr

The origin speaks for itself:

tacterion was founded in 2015 as a spin-off of the DLR, the German Aerospace Center.
